About a year ago I started only buying cruelty-free makeup. The way I see it, there are ways to test cosmetics without harming animals, and there are safer ingredients we could be putting on our skin, so there’s no excuse for companies to continue cruel practices. It’s good for animals and it’s good for us – so that’s good for me!

If you’re interested in purchasing cruelty-free makeup, I’ve put together some products that I’ve tried and loved, many of which are in my regular makeup rotation. There’s a good mix in here between drug-store and higher end products; it’s nice to know that cruelty-free living is achievable at any price point!
